The wreckage of an Indonesian aircraft carrying 54 persons has been discovered within the far off western Papua neighborhood, officers say.
The Trigana Air flight lost contact with floor manage at 14:55 local time (05:55 GMT) as it flew from the capital Jayapura to town of Oksibil.
A transport reliable mentioned the aircraft had been located within the Bintang highlands region, not far from its intended touchdown site at Oksibil airport.
It isn't yet recognized if anyone survived.
