At least four women died from a boat capsized in Sone River in Bihar's Rohtas district on Thursday. Possibly five women remain missing.
While the injured are admitted to Narayan Medical College and Clinic, search operation is underway for your five missing women. As many seeing that 15 women were on the boat at the time of the accident. All 5 women, who include suffered severe traumas, were rescued.
"The boat capsized inside the swirling waters. Till now figures of four women are found, while five are rescued in a critical condition. One woman swam to safety while 5 others are missing as soon as the incident, " PTI offered Patel as saying.
The incident came about when the women were on the way to an island down the middle of the river pertaining to agricultural purposes, mentioned Dehri-on-Sone sub-divisional specialist Pankaj Patel.
The deceased are identified as 40-year-old Parvati Devi, 35-year-old Mahangi Devi, 32-year-old Radhika Devi, along with 38-year-old Champa Devi.
