28 militants were wiped out in Shawal region and 15 in Gharlamai after the military jets bombed their hideouts in the tribal region bordering Afghanisthan.

At least 43 militants had been killed on Thursday in aerial strikes performed by Pakistan armed forces in two different regions of the country's restive northwest land.

Thursday's strikes came two days after the military claimed the item had killed at the least 65 militants in the air strikes inside North Waziristan as well as Khyber Agency on Monday.  The Pakistan armed forces intensified Zarb-e-azab offensive launched in June a year ago in militants' stronghold of North Waziristan, after the deadly Taliban attack while on an army-run school in Peshawar by which 150 people, such as 136 students, had been killed.

The operation is its final phase and will also be concluded by the tip of this 12 months. Army claims that greater than 1, 600 militants happen to be killed in operation.
