New Delhi: Cricket God Sachin Tendulkar features lent his tone of voice to Swachh Bharat anthem, created under some sort of government initiative to make the "Clean India" plan a public movements.
The anthem, composed by play trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy in addition to sung by Shankar Mahadevan and others, will be produced on October 2, marking one year on the launch of Swachh Bharat plan on Mahatma Gandhi's birth anniversary.
Celebrities have come together to manufacture a Swachh Bharat anthem aimed towards enthusing and inspiring citizens to sign up hands in recognizing the collective want a "clean India", said a senior Metropolitan Development Ministry official.
They have responded enthusiastically towards Prime Minister's call for a "jan andolan" (public movement) to make the Swachh Bharat Vision successful, he added.
The anthem song authored by lyricist Prasoon Joshi will also feature a video being created by Mukesh Bhatt.
Tendulkar has contributed to the present endeavor by reciting a number of lines that will feature inside anthem, as well while providing various musical strategies for the recording.
The audio on the song is expected to be released around the eve of Mahatma Gandhi's birth anniversary.
